COLUMBIA, SC - (July 12, 2017) The Abu Garcia® renowned Veritas rod series is updated with increased comfort and improved weight and balance.

Abu Garcia Veritas rods combine a 30-ton construction with Sublayer Armor for strength and sensitivity in a lightweight, balanced design. The Sublayer Armor with high strength fibers adds to the product durability, as well as hoop strength. The titanium alloy guides with ultra-light Zirconium inserts add to the lightweight, balanced experience.

The new Veritas rods also feature a ROCS™ Guide train. This robotically optimized casting system maximizes casting distance with lighter lures.

Other key features included in the new Abu Garcia Veritas – including a high-density EVA and the up-locking ratcheting reel seat – are ideal for maximum comfort. The Abu locking micro click reel seat design also offers a secure connection between the rod and reel.

The Abu Garcia Veritas has a limited 3-year warranty. MSRP ranges from $99.95 to $199.95.
