Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worst reel I had..... I have Abu Garcia Revo Inshore 30 Spinning Reel and the Revo series are the worst reels I ever had. it’s looks nice, it’s looks like is quality but in cold weather conditions the reels doesn’t work properly anymore. The first time I have sent it to service it was because a wheel inside cracked. The aluminium used in the build of the reels is very cheap. As a TEST if you decide to buy this reel put it in the freezer for 5 min and you will see what i’m talking about. The engineering is well made but the quality of the materials goes in the Revo series is awful. It looks like all the Revo2 series have same issue...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The fish jump in the boat I have had this reel for a short time but it has quickly become my go to reel when it's time to do some serious fishing. I've landed some on my best fish on this reel works great in both fresh water and salt water I'll definitely be adding a few more to my collection.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Revo Inshore 30 I purchased this reel about 2 months ago, to replace an aging Shimano to use for light shore jigging. So far it is performing well, as smooth as comparable Daiwa's and Shimano's, handles PE0.6 Braid well, and best of all doesn't have a make believe retrieve rate as some reels do, also love the full time infinite anti reverse. Having only landed several small GT's and Tailor (Bluefish I believe in the USA) looking forward to seeing what the longevity is like. Shore jigging tend to be hard on reels. Also would like to thank Sonny Koenck for all his help that he provide in the lead up to my purchase of this reel.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent reel. I exchanged my Daiwa reel for this reel since saltwater got into it. I wanted to try this reel for the perch and it has performed very well in the surf in Southern California.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very poor craftmanship I bought this reel about a year ago and rarely used it. About two months ago while I was reeling in a Tilapia size mangrove snapper the whole bell assembly broke and fell on the water. Academy wants to replace the unit but it was not available anymore. I am very disappointed because my shimano (Sedona) lasted longer than this expensive model. I will never recommend this product to my friends or to anybody else.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice reel Purchased this in a lighter weight than I thought, but I cast farther and it held up on my first shoreline Florida trip very very well. I matched it to a heavier 3 piece, 7 foot ocean travel rod, and it did NOT underperform at all. My only worry the the reel cap opposite of the handle got lost when packing. I need extras. Great reel. fast retrieve, super light weight. Combined with 30lb Spyderwire with Dyneema. When chucking Gulp in the boat lanes, I literally had to be carefull not to cast too far.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Product I use ABU Garcia and Penn Conflict reels for my inshore fishing. Recently I gave the Revo Inshore Spinning reel a try. This reel is excellent! Light, smooth, casts well, picks up line on the retrieve perfectly. I would highly recommend this product to anyone wanting an excellent reel for inshore fishing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Three rods and two reels and I'm set. I bought all three Volatile 7 foot rods ie medium-light, medium and medium-heavy along with the Revo Inshore 35 and 60 spinning reels. For just a little more then one top of the line reel and rod combo I can easily fish fresh water lakes, streams and rivers all the way up to some heavy duty King salmon fishing or light off shore jigging and everything in between. I love the look of these rods and reels and with the added protection of being designed for salt water means the functionality of this investment can't be beat.
