I have owned this reel for about a year and have caught hundreds of bass with it. The reel is solid and smooth, I take it apart and clean/lube it maybe once a month. The biggest negative I have is the stupid handle, the rubber coating came off like others have said and yes the edges of the exposed screw are sharp. When I contacted Abu for a replacement they said they do not sell that part individually….do I still use it? Yes. Would I buy it again? No

First things first, it looks great. It feels great. Its complete trash. Bought one of these for my birthday and the reverse lock was broken right out of the box. Had to drive an hour back to bass pro to exchange. I knew I shouldve just grabbed a different brand but I really wanted it to work. My second Revo X lasted about 2-3 trips before the bail snapped clean off, I'm not hard on my equipment at all. So a second trip to bass pro and I finally learned my lesson. What a shame, really wanted to like this but wouldn't accept one for free at this point.
