Got this pole just to have something lighter, and I’m so happy with my purchase. Super light, smooth reel, and cast really far. My husband tries to borrow my pole all the time, lol. Caught some good sized, hard fighting trout, and the pole worked great. Waiting to snag me a bass still.

This thing casts insanely far and is very smooth. With most reels that have line already on them when you buy them the line is very curly and hard to cast but it wasn't that way with this one. This combo with a r2s whopper plopper tied on has caught me many bass and my 2nd largest large mouth.
