I purchased this set up for my 8-year-old grandson. We tried a couple other brands and the combos
were weak, especially the reels. Line was curling and the drags were off even after resetting.
This set up appears to be much smoother. I purchased a second one to have a backup for him. Makes a nice xmas gift!

Received rod in mail broken with little to no packaging inside the box for protection. When I tried to call I got no one to answer along with sending multiple emails.. They finally got back to me several days later saying they've been busy.
