I bought a 2nd combo because this rod and reel are amazing. Running an 8lb braid with an 8lb flurocarbon leader. Great action on the rod, you can feel everything, from the vibration of the chatterbait, the difference from weeds to a fish on. I've caught more bass using this combo in the last 2 months than the last year. I'll probably buy a 3rd for a back up eventually.

They tell you what the power of the backbone (medium) but I don't see the speed (I woulf want fast) I didn't see what lure weights can be thrown with this rod

Had to take apart the reel already to prevent it feom backspinning. But other than that its caught me some solid bass already.

Packaging was questionable. I guess there’s no other good way to ship a 7 foot rod!!! so far I love the combo though surprisingly light sturdy and smooth. Definitely gonna buy the baitcaster next
