Just received this today. Initially impressed with it sitting on couch tinkering with it, only to discover the bail can’t flip when the spool is on the end of its cycle. Pulled the spool and reinstalled it. Same. How does a product make it to market with such a design flaw? Unusable! No damage to the reel. 3000 size. What gives Abu?

This 3000 reel is the best reel I ever owned. It casts so smooth and the hook set with it is so awesome. I caught so many bass on it the first day I got it. I got the 7 ft Medium Beast rod with it... Its the perfect set up. 💯 highly recommend for bass fishing!!
