It’s not looking like I will ever get to write an honest review on this combo because the vague description given makes me too apprehensive to pull the trigger. Theres no info at all about the rod, no length or actions. At least the reels gear ratio was noted but not if available in both RH & LH BTW-I already own 4 of these and they are great!

I bought three of these bait casting combos last year and they have held up very well after a moderate amount of fishing. Very smooth casting reel -
with proper adjustments results in very few backlashes. It’s a well balanced combination at an excellent price. I highly recommend the Black Max combo! Thanks Abu Garcia!
