Came in broken but atleast they let me keep the reel and sent a replacement very good

The rod and reel run very smooth especially for the price but the reel is very prone to breaking because of the fact its mainly made of plastic. I accidentally dropped the reel from about 3 feet high and the part that holds the rod to the reel completely shattered making it unusable. The rod worked well besides for the eyelets on the rod fraying the braid. I used the recommended line (20lbs braid) and it still somehow messed up the eyelets.

I bought this rod two years ago, and it has yet to let me down. I’m planning on buying another one tonight; absolutely great rod for the experienced, or new to using bait casters.
