I have had this rod for 3 weeks and used it over 10 times, it works great. There have been very few backlash’s and tangles. The black/red color look very nice and clean. The reel is very smooth and works great. Recommend this rod combo 100%.

Great combo at a great price
I bought this from the Abu website and was amazed at the quality at this price point. Casts smoothly and the drag is strong. The rod is not the most sensitive but it will get the job done for pitching worns, chatterbaits, and spinnerbaits.
