I was super excited to receive a great brand in a spincast. But honestly it’s poor quality. The drag does work. N overall the Zebco 33 is just the best spincast .

Sadly, I am disappointed. These reels did not perform at all like I thought they would. I got two of them for my 8 and 6 yr old who love fishing. We fish once or twice a month and I thought I was getting something simple n durable. NOPE! I spent the whole day hearing "Daddy its not casting. Daddy its not working. Daddy im reeling but nothing is happening. Daddy its stuck." It was constant. One of the most unproductive and frustrating days of fishing. I own a few Abu Garcia baitcaster combos, this is NOT that. I will be returning these. Can someone from Abu Garcia please contact me and help me return them?

Rod came broken at the tip. I emailed them they didnt respond.
