    Terrible customer service and return policy

    I will never buy an Abu Garcia product again. I purchased a fishing rod online and it came broken in the box. The box had no padding and the reel was broke from the rod. When I called, no one answered after 10 different calls over a few days then I sent an email and a week later got a response saying they couldn’t do anything for me & it wasn’t their fault it got broke in the shipping process.

    Nice combo for the price

    Order came in right before local tournament, put line on tied lure on and first cast 4 lb bass worked great .. Would like for the rod to be medium/ heavy

    A month later…still not received

    I’m in customer service so I certainly understand things fall through the cracks, but this has been quite possibly the most frustrating experience I’ve ever had. My son has recently gotten into fishing and said he would like to try the Abu Garcia rod which we ordered 2 of them on August 12. After 10 days I followed up with customer service and never heard back. Followed up two more times with phone calls and emails and finally heard from someone that told me they didn’t know what happened but it never left the facility. She re-ordered the fishing rods and told me they would be delivered in 5 to 7 business days. That was 2 weeks ago. I’ve reached out to customer service, again, for a refund, but no response yet. Not a great first impression for us.
