Replaced a Curado DC with the SX Revo VoltIQ. I had high expectations that it would be as good as my Curado was. This VoltIQ absolutely blew my mind. It’s far better than the Curado. I can cast farther, it’s way lighter, I can throw lighter baits, and the brake settings are phenomenal. With the right spool tension I was able to throw a weightless senko on setting 4 without thumbing the spool at all and didn’t have any over run whatsoever. I threw a 3/8oz buzz bait on setting 5 without thumbing it. The little over run I had was corrected by itself!!! I never dreamed a reel could be this good!

Very nice baitcaster reel, ive enjoyed it so far. Great breaking system. Drag was tested on just my 3rd cast. With the bearings, reeling in my catch was with ease. A+ Abu Garcia.
