Not the lightest of reel but If you want to wrestle big fish its the best I've used. Throw on some 50lb braid link up with the Veritas tournament rod and that's all you need. I hooked a small gator in Gulf Shore by accident and wore it out. They was way to much fun!! Not exactly in the brochure but its super strong and the max drag is reliable
