Introducing the next generation of Veritas rods. The introduction of Powerlux® 100 increases the rod’s strength by 15 percent while also reducing the rod’s overall weight by 5 percent. The new Veritas rod family gives anglers the performance, sensitivity, and durability they need to win, whether they’re fishing for fun or for a paycheck. The Powerlux 100 resin system evenly distributes nano particles between each carbon fiber to enhance the rod’s performance and strength by preventing cracks in the blank material. The Powerlux technology helps produce rods with higher break strengths and improved impact and fracture resistance. The Abu Garcia custom designed reel seat delivers hypersensitivity around the exposed blank sections and improves comfort for all-day fishing. Coupled with titanium alloy guides with zirconium inserts and Winn® advanced polymer Dri-Tac grips, the Abu Garcia Veritas pushes the limits of high-performance fishing rods.

This series of rods is hands down the best rod at price points well above its rating. I started with Swiss Knife 7'MH, 6'10" ML 7'3" MH. W/in 4 1/2 months I had a total of 14 of them casting and spinning. They are absolutely light as a feather for all day use, strong as an ox & use premium components. I've yet to break 1 or even thrown a guide insert. Well as they always are doing, Abu Garcia came out with the Veritas Tourn & Pro series. Naturally knowing how good the Veritas PLX LTD are I had to try them. Are they great rods, w/out a doubt! Am I going to replace my Current Veritas? Absolutely not! Imo just as good. Do wish they had more tech spec like JLee, & pro series besides Toro Winch and Frog rods. The Winn grip is worth the $$ especially when raining or hot summers day and hand's sweating. If you don't have a rod locker stuffed, well are you really fishing. Online, here bc just ordered another 7'3" H.

I've been replacing all my rods with ABU Garcia Veritas PLX rods. I'm currently up to a dozen of the Veritas rods now. I fish tournaments in Texas and these are the most sensitive and lightest rods on the market that I've found. When fishing tournaments, pounds matter and I truly believe these rods give me the edge!.

Very sensitive and powerful at the same time, this is my go to rod for everything. They make a action and Length for any type of fishing I like to do. I highly recommend this Rod great job ABU.

I love this new rod from Abu Garcia, it is light, and sensitive, with the high grip handle section, looking to fish for a long time with it especially with the wonderful warranty. Thank you Abu Garcia!!!
