Broken easily…just at the third time of use.
When I claimed the warranty, first they told me they would send a new one and even shared a ‘fake’ order number and tracking number. Then, after two weeks, they just told me they don’t ship to my address. What a joke! WORST service EVER.

This is an outstanding rod for the price point! The combo is well balanced and the reel has a smooth drag. I would recommend this combo to anyone! Paired mine up with 10 braid to a 12lb trilene leader to throw poppers for largemouth!

I just purchased 2 of these rod/reel combos in a retail store on Wednesday June 18 (2days ago). Once I got home and went to load some line, I realized they’re both missing parts from the reel. I went back to the retailer and they stated they have no more in stock to exchange, but to contact the manufacturer for warranty assistance. Well, that’s easier said then done ! I left my first voicemail at 9:30am est yesterday (Thursday June 19), the 2nd voicemail at 3:30pm est, and now a 3rd voicemail today at 11:24am. I also sent an email yesterday at 6:38pm (after they were closed and hadn’t responded all day). Pretty ridiculous “customer service/warranty” that they don’t have anyone answering the phone, you have to leave a message for no one to call you back !? This is my very first experience with Abu Garcia products or the company itself… and let me tell ya, this is the WORST experience I’ve had with ANY company, EVER !
