The palm-able Line Counter fishing reel features our synchronized levelwind system as well as the smooth-pulling Carbon Matrix™ drag system. Each reel is constructed with three shielded stainless steel ball bearings and a corrosion- resistant instant anti-reverse bearing for solid hook sets. The mechanical line counter measures line in feet as it pulls out for extreme trolling and/or downrigging accuracy.

A quality Reel

As a guide, we exclusively use Abu Garcia reels and have been accustom to great quality products...However, these reels are lacking that. We recently purchased multiple Ambassador Line Counters and have had numerous problems with the counters sticking, skipping, or not resetting. Also, parts on two of the reels fell off after their first use. Lastly, the clicker on one fails to engage all the way and allows the reel to free spool.
Not happy and first attempts with customer service was unsuccessful. Since the reels were purchased over 60 days ago, the return policy was void. (Bought them over winter and had to wait until the ice was clear befire using them). I'm sure Abu will come through, but for now I have to rate these reels low.
